Golf Tournament

Golf Tournament – Wednesday, May 23

Golf Tournament Online Registration

This year’s tournament will be held at the Crestwood Country Club Golf Course. The format will be an 18 hole best-ball competition for individual and team play. Play will begin at 7:00 am with lunch at the clubhouse.  Prizes will be awarded during lunch on Thursday, May 24.

• If you have a team, submit the names of the foursome; or if you need a team, submit your name to check@pittstate.edu.
• The cost of the tournament is $57 per player.
• Tuesday, May 15 is the last day to register for the golf tournament.
• Feel free to send questions to check@pittstate.edu.

Tournament Details

• Register early. If you don’t have a team of four, sign up anyway and we will put you with a group.
• Cost - $57 includes green fees, cart, box lunch, and driving range privileges (opens at 6:30 am).
• Prizes – Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Individual and Team Score honors.
• Individual and Best Ball Team prizes so all players card their own scores.  The lowest individual score on each hole is used to determine the team score.
• Play will begin at 7:00 am.

More Golf…

For those wishing to play more golf, two public golf courses are available in Pittsburg.  Countryside Golf Course is a nine hole par 36 course.  Four Oaks Golf Course is an 18 hole course with the front nine being an executive par 3 course.  If you would like any info on playing either of these two courses please contact check@pittstate.edu.

The Crestwood Golf Course features 6,691 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72.  The course rating is 71.7 and it has a slope rating of 118 on Zoysia grass.  Designed by Floyd Farley, ASGCA, the Crestwood golf course opened in 1958. Todd Casey manages the course as the Golf Professional.

Directions to Crestwood Golf Course

From conference hotels, head south on Broadway. Turn right (west) on US 170/US 69, turn right (west) on Quincy Av, continue on W Quincy St, turn left (south) on S 200th St, turn right (west) on W Crestview Av.  The golf course is approximately 6 miles from the conference hotels.
